— Our story began in 1990 when a couple of dreamers turned their dream of owning and operating a tool and die shop into a reality and Custom Tooling Systems, Inc. was born. We started out in John’s garage before moving to the “Hut” in the little town of Borculo, Michigan. We expanded once and then moved into our current facility located in nearby Zeeland, Michigan in 1998. After several more expansions we now have a 49,100 sq foot building. Our building is air conditioned and well tooled to meet your needs in a competitive and timely manner.

With more than almost 30 years of business experience under our belt, we take tool and die making seriously. We provide our customers with hands-on interactive short die run-offs in our presses for quality assurance purposes. We love what we do and this passion spills over into our daily work and our outstanding customer service. Our employees are not just employees, we are like a family, and we are friends.

Not a problem, we stock tool steel so that we can begin the repair of your tooling immediately, cutting down on long waits for supplies. We offer reverse engineering, we can probably suggest upgrades to decrease future downtime.
At Custom Tooling Systems Inc., we utilize advanced 3D CAD software including AutoCAD, VISI - Design, Work NC - CNC Programming, Pro-E, Mechanical Desktop, 6 seats of VISI5, Seats of Pro-Engineering, and Virtual Gibbs to design and simulate tool design concepts for the customer to evaluate before the tool & die making process.
